Questions & Answers
Can I define my own fields?
Yes.
Reunion is very flexible. No matter what facets of your research are unique, Reunion will accommodate your needs.
First, there are different types of fields (events, facts, notes, flags, and sources) and, within each type of field, you can define the fields that are unique to your research. (Of course, Reunion ships with lots of default fields, but it's nice to know that you won't be limited.)
Second, unlike some genealogy programs, the fields in Reunion can be independent for each person. For example, if you have military records for some of the people in your family file, you can use a "Military" field for those people - but the "Military" field doesn't have to appear for everybody.
