Does Reunion 14 work with ReunionTouch?
After I upgrade to Reunion 14, what should I do?
Reunion 14 works with ReunionTouch; however, be sure to get the latest ReunionTouch update on your device, directly from the iOS App Store.
NOTE: If you will be moving your family file from your Dropbox folder to your iCloud Drive folder or vice versa, see this page.
If you upgraded from Reunion 11, 12 or 13 to Reunion 14, it's important to complete the following steps...
- (You may have already completed this step.) On the Mac, upgrade/convert your old family file to the Reunion 14 format. This will create a new, version 14 family file, which you have named and, hopefully, saved in your iCloud Drive or Dropbox folder. However, creating a version 14 family file does not remove or delete your version 11, 12 or 13 family file. So, you'll have both temporarily.
- Open ReunionTouch on your device.
- If your old family file opens, close it. (Tap the icon and tap .)
- In the Welcome to ReunionTouch window, tap or .
- Locate and select your Reunion version 14 family file in the file selection window that appears.
- The version 14 family file will be downloaded to your device. It may take a long time if it has lots of pictures. When it's done, you may begin using it.
- To avoid confusion, at some point you should use ReunionTouch to delete the old (version 11, 12 or 13) copy of your family file on the device. (Note: Deleting the family file on the device, does not delete the Mac family file in iCloud Drive or Dropbox.) If you're not sure how to do this, click here.
